In August 2025, three generational potato farms in the Northeast came together to form Szawlowski Farms, LLC. This joint venture brings together Szawlowski Packers, LLC of Hatfield, Massachusetts; Connecticut River Farms, a subsidiary of Sterman Masser Potato Farms of Sacramento, Pennsylvania; and Savage Farms of Deerfield, Massachusetts.
Together, these farms have aligned production, supply, packing capacity, and regional expertise to better serve retail and food distribution customers throughout New England and the Northeast.
Packing Capabilities
Szawlowski Farms LLC operates a potato pack shed in Hatfield, Massachusetts, managed by Masser Family of Companies. The facility is designed to support high-volume production, flexible packaging options, and consistent year-round supply.

The pack shed maintains year-round supply of yellow, white, red, and russet potatoes, supported by local in-season production and partnerships with Northeast potato farms that provide storage capabilities throughout the remainder of the supply year. Through its sister companies, Szawlowski Farms LLC also has access to fresh cut potatoes, sweet potatoes, and specialty products.

Prior to the formation of Szawlowski Farms LLC, the Masser Family of Companies provided supply chain management, sales, procurement, and marketing services to support SWAZ's continued growth and market expansion.
The partnership strengthened customer service, increased production efficiencies, and streamlined supply chain operations throughout the Northeast and New England. By combining the expertise of two legacy potato farming organizations, the collaboration reinforced the importance of family farms while providing customers with a reliable farm-to-shelf connection and access to fresh, high-quality potatoes year-round.
This successful partnership laid the foundation for the creation of Szawlowski Farms LLC, bringing together regional production, packing, and distribution capabilities to better serve customers across the Northeast.
